Borgeson & Burns was established in 1999, when then-managing partners Cory R. Borgeson and John J. Burns bought the firm from Birch Horton Bittner & Cherot. Cory and John believed that to effectively serve the interior, a local approach was essential. Having practiced law in Fairbanks since the mid 1980’s, both have developed and nurtured ties within the community which allowed them to successfully make the transition.
